This battery discharge issue was a long standing one. I have spent hundreds of pounds with Barrett's trying to sort it out, this time a new workshop manager listened and , hopefully, established the reason.

As well as the MOT and service, they quickly identified and rectified a fault and completed the repair at no cost to me through the warranty. Mollie was excellent at keeping me informed and she ensured the work was carried out quickly and effective.

Concerning. I could have driven the car away, happily and confidently thinking that all necessary work had been done and that the car would be safe for the next many thousand miles; there would, in fact, soon have been dangerous braking problems.

Everything was good, apart from the rip-off prices. £216 for each investigation (up to 1 hour) is extortionate. The price of replacement parts are ridiculously high, knowing that it is a captive market.

It did take almost 2 hours which for what was effectively a car wash , tyre check and MOT seems quite excessive

Worst case scenario was expressed first up but turned out to be bare wires.Car was repaired at first opportunity considering I had to wait over weekend.Car was cleaned and hoovered as well.Very impressed.

The only thing I asked to be looked at and repaired when the car came for MOT, was the wing mirrors. I was told the car was ready, but this had not been done, so it was kept for a 4th day. I was very grateful to have the car delivered back to me.

There is a fault with the car which is under warranty. BMW Canterbury say they fixed it but the fault is still showing on the dash. There is a a test to 100 % prove the fault is repaired, but BMW Canterbury will not perform that test.

It's no reflection on Barretts - I'm less than completely satisfied because the issue has still yet to be resolved, but they have kept me informed and advised that the delays are predominantly whilst waiting for guidance from BMW.

It was flawless and all the pre - purchase information was accurate and delivery dates were met. The transition was smooth and they also gave us a great trial drive, which very much helped us in making our decision. Handover was als pleasant.
